We currently have an exciting career opportunity for an Assurance Manager to join our team based in our Hartford office for remote and in-office roles.

CohnReznick is a hybrid firm; most of our professionals are located within a commutable distance to one of our offices. This position is considered hybrid, which means team members are expected to alternate time between both remote and office. YOUR TEAM.

This position will support our Financial Services Group. The Financial Services Group provides services to private equity, hedge fund, broker dealer, fund to funds, and real estate fund clients. You will work on a team with other Associates, Senior Associates, Managers, Senior Managers, and Partners. This team has a passion for what they do and a focus on consistently delivering value to our clients.

YOUR ROLE.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  1. Serving as the engagement lead on specific client accounts, taking responsibility for pre-engagement planning, execution, and final deliverables.
  2. Develop detailed engagement work plans, illustrating budgets and schedules.
  3. Continue to build a thorough understanding of all audits, tax and consulting services provided by the firm, and actively participate in proposals.
  4. In managing a team of staff associates, including interns, you will provide regular performance coaching and feedback, while developing individual technical and industry skills.
  5. Effective client management, timely and accurate communication, and clear and concise direction and leadership.

YOUR EXPERIENCE.

The successful candidate will have:

  1. Bachelor's or Master's in Accounting required
  2. CPA designation is required
  3. 4+ years' experience in a public accounting firm required
  4. Financial Services industry experience preferred, but not required
  5. Knowledge of audit software ProSystem Fx a plus
  6. Exceptional organizational, communication, and presentation (verbal and written) skills
