Wireless Engineer

Job Description

Location: San Francisco, CA

Responsibilities:

1. Understand 4G and 5G technical deployment system architectures.
2. Integrate solutions into 4G and 5G wide area and private networks.
3. Develop integration strategies for vertical industries that include radio vendors, Wireless Core network vendors, and cloud providers.
4. Plan, design, develop, and manage multiple wireless solutions.
5. Oversee all technical aspects and implementation of assigned projects.
6. Act as the single point of contact for all 2G/3G/4G/5G network technical issues.

Qualifications:

1. Strong technical background with wireless infrastructure access and core networks, with relevant recent experience deploying solutions for 4G and/or 5G.
2. Deep knowledge of 2G/3G/4G wireless systems (RAN, EPC, 5GC, VoLTE, etc.).
3. Hands-on experience in RAN and Packet Core Solutions integration.
4. Familiarity with performance validation tools such as iperf, IXIA, Spirent, etc., and understanding of Linux and Linux tools.
