Travel Nurse RN - NICU in Santa Clara, CA

**Job Title:** Maternal Child Health (MCH) Registered Nurse
**Job Specialty:** Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) - Critical Care
**Job Duration:** 12 months
**Shift:** 12-hour shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
**Guaranteed Hours:** 36 hours per week
**Experience:** 1 year of recent (within the last 3 years) full-time equivalent experience in Level III Neonatal Intensive Care. Preferred: Seven years of recent experience in Level III Neonatal Intensive Care (within last 10 years).
**License:** Registered Nurse License
**Certifications:**
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Advanced Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP)
**Must-Have:** ACLS certification; recent experience in Level III Neonatal Intensive Care.
**Job Description:**
- Provide high-quality nursing care to critically ill neonates in the NICU.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Monitor and assess the health status of neonates, managing changes in their condition.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, while observing for any adverse reactions.
- Educate and support families through difficult situations, ensuring they are informed and involved in decision-making.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to enhance skills and knowledge in neonatal care.
- Uphold the highest standards of patient safety and quality of care.
- Ensure compliance with all healthcare regulations and protocols.
