OnCourse is seeking a Mid-Sr DevOps Engineer to join their team in Naperville to provide technical guidance to their offshore team and assist with setting up new monitoring. The Offshore team is more technical so they would like this Engineer to have a blend of Technical with a good understanding of the business needs and functionality. Set up AWS resources, debug issues and get ready to deploy. Write AWS command lines

1. What are they specifically looking for in Kubernetes (creating containers, securing, monitoring, etc.)? – Everything in this area. Almost like a developer where someone can create a container, set scalesets, configure gateways, IP, PODs, etc and also setup observability.
2. What services are they looking for experience with AWS (Cloud Formation, EC2, S3, IAM, etc.)? – S3, IAM, EC2, RDS, any kind of DBs in AWS, using AWS command line, Lambda functions, overall a strong AWS cloud engineer with scripting skills.
3. What specific tasks beyond securing and command lines are they looking for from a CloudOps Standpoint – set tags in AWS, deploy and take down lambda functions, setup kubectl, switch EBS volumes, move items in s3 buckets, scale up RDS, and a plethora of functions in command line,
The person should have the ability to write code and someone who is hands on. They may not have decades of experience but technical aptitude is a must have.
