Demographer Flow Analytics

FLO Analytics (FLO) is seeking a full-time Demographer to join our Portland, OR; Seattle, WA; or remotely from anywhere in the US. As our ideal candidate, you excel in demographic analysis, possess strong project management skills, and have a knack for innovative thinking. In this role, you'll take on technical and analytical challenges while working with a collaborative team, building relationships with clients, and directly influencing decisions in K-12 education systems. Your expertise will guide school districts in planning for the future, and you'll play a key role in advancing demographic research and data analytics across the country.

You will:

1. Develop student enrollment forecasts for K-12 school districts, using demographic methods and Geographic Information Systems (GIS) to analyze population data, land use and housing information, birth rates, and migration patterns.
2. Create data visualizations such as tables, charts, and maps to support a variety of planning projects and present your findings to school officials, boards, and the public.
3. Conduct attendance area boundary reviews, long-term planning, and capacity evaluations, helping school districts prepare for growth.
