Role Overview

Our product managers bring deep knowledge of our customers, drive decisions powered by data, and track industry trends and competitive landscape. They bridge the technical and business worlds and collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Legal teams in finding delightful products delivering business goals.
This role is with the Digital Products App + Web group where you will be a key member of the Digital Product Management & Delivery team working on defining and building next-generation mobility experiences. The role is responsible for guiding products throughout the execution cycle, from conception to launch. The products developed by the teams you work with power experiences that are present in the car, on the web, and in users’ mobile devices. You have a deep focus on the customer, are unafraid to think big, and operate with a Design Thinking and Lean Startup mindset.
Our ideal candidate has a background in delivering multiple products with a customer-centric mindset with the ability to consistently raise the bar on using modern best practices of Product Management. You will play an influential role working with the design and engineering teams in delivering new mobility experiences and connected car features on mobile devices. In this role, you will be shipping ground-breaking mobility experiences that delight customers, redefine mobility, and achieve Fisker’s vision of a clean future for all.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with & support Digital experience team to develop customer-centric product vision, strategy, and roadmap for digital journey experiences related to electrification and mobility for Pan-European markets.
- Responsible for driving & developing detailed product specifications and support product delivery.
- Work in product teams along with product designers and engineers and build delightful products that deliver business goals across USA & EU Business workstreams.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to define, implement, and track product development activities such as prototyping, design release, validation, kickoff, and maintenance with on-time delivery.
- In collaboration with stakeholders, define product features that prioritize features based on business impact and customer needs.
- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of our users' needs, market opportunities, latest technological advancements, and business objectives.
- Solve ambiguous problems as well as proactively identify and mitigate risks before they become roadblocks.
- Develop detailed business requirements that can be used to create program definition and deliverables planning.
- Lead cross-functional projects to provide end-users with world-class experiences.
- Closely follow industry standards and benchmarks and promote continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5-7 years of product management experience in web, mobile, and cloud-based products or services.
- 4 years of work experience in the technology industry.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science/Engineering or related technology field.
- Demonstrated understanding of the techniques and methods of modern product discovery and product delivery.
- Strong product leadership experience working with design, engineering, QA, and operations teams.
- Demonstrated experience and knowledge driving product development and delivering multiple products successfully to the market.
- Excellent written and verbal communications across technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Excellent experience in leading Agile/Scrum development processes and teams. Manage scope, cost, resources and achieve on-time delivery of goals.
- Experience in product development at all stages; product ideation, design, prototyping, validation, launch, and production.
- Experienced in continuous product enhancements through continuous discovery and delivery mindset.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s degree in computer science/Engineering or related technology field, Business or equivalent training or work experience.
- Demonstrated ability to learn multiple functional areas of business – engineering, design, finance, sales, or marketing.
- Strong technical experience in web, mobile apps, cloud, and front-end technologies and API Integrations.
- Experience working with overseas teams and external vendors on joint development projects.
- Experience building products targeted for domestic and international markets.
- Proven ability to engage with engineers, designers, and company leaders in a constructive and collaborative relationship.
- Experience in a fast-moving, highly collaborative, multi-threaded dynamic start-up environment.
Expected Salary Range : $120,000.00-$170,000.00 a year.
Additional compensation : Salary is one part of total compensation which includes bonuses, equity awards as applicable, and benefits. An employee is eligible to participate in Fisker’s equity program, subject to the rules governing such programs.
