Job Title: Sr. Process EngineerJob DescriptionWe are partnering with a large, well-known architecture, engineering, and construction management firms across the United States to assist them with hiring. They are growing their southeastern Pennsylvania team and are hiring for multiple skillsets. We are seeking an energetic and highly motivated self-starter to join this team as a Sr Process Engineer. The selected candidate will be working on fast-paced, technically complex design/build projects in the industrial, chemical, biotech, pharmaceutical, and food industries.Responsibilities:Lead a range of process engineering activities associated with delivering successful solutions to clients in the biotechnology, biopharmaceutical, pharmaceutical, and specialty chemical industries.Work directly with clients to define project requirements and deliver appropriate solutions to meet the stated needs based on a defined budget and schedule. This work is done in conjunction with process engineering team members, and members of other disciplines.Develop standard engineering documents associated with projects at various stages of execution from Conceptual Design to Construction and Commissioning.Verify the correct implementation of the systems as designed and compliance with applicable standards (e.g. cGMPs) during the execution phase.Support the Project Manager with the start-up and commissioning efforts during the startup and commissioning phase.Execute projects varying in size with a focus on projects of larger scope and/or higher technical complexity.Ensure the quality of design documents.Develop junior engineers.Reinforce an atmosphere of safety and a commitment to design excellence.Complete Quality Management Training and comply with the program upholding a commitment to a culture of quality in all aspects of work.Qualifications:Bachelors in Mechanical Engineering or Chemical Engineering15 years in Process EngineeringFamiliarity with cGMP and Regulatory guidelines including equipment qualification and validationExperience with Utility, clean utility, and clean process equipment specification, installation, and startupExperience in design-build delivery methodologyJob TypeThis is a direct placement career opportunity.Work SiteThis is a fully remote position with the option of working in their Southeastern Pennsylvania office.Work EnvironmentThis office and team handles MEP design and project management services.About ActalentActalent is a global leader in engineering and sciences services and talent solutions.
