Hourly Rate: 85/hr 1099 ONLY. Please do not apply if you cannot work on 1099.

Contract: 6 months with the possibility of conversion to an FTE.

Location: Hybrid (3 days onsite in Naperville, IL)


We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Salesforce Certified Platform Developer II with over 15 years of development expertise, specifically in the call center application domain within the home services industry . The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in Salesforce development and a proven track record of delivering high-quality solutions in a fast-paced Agile environment .


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development and implementation of customized Salesforce solutions, with a focus on call center applications for the home services industry.
  • SFMC Expertise and Certification is a MUST have.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams in a co-located team setting , ensuring smooth communication and synergy in an Agile environment.
  • Utilize Salesforce Platform Developer II certification skills to drive project success, optimizing call center operations and improving customer experience.
  • Work on-site 3 days a week in Naperville, IL, while supporting the hybrid team dynamic to ensure cohesive collaboration.
  • Develop and maintain a seamless integration between Salesforce and third-party systems, with a preference for experience integrating with Amazon Connect .
  • Provide leadership in designing, developing, testing, and deploying Salesforce applications and components.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Maintain strong communication with stakeholders and team members, ensuring transparency and alignment on project goals and timelines.
  • Stay up-to-date with Salesforce releases, enhancements, and best practices to maintain high performance and scalability of solutions.


Required Qualifications:

  • Salesforce Certified Platform Developer II with at least 15+ years of extensive development experience .
  • SFMC Certification
  • Proven experience in developing call center applications, ideally within the home services industry .
  • Ability to deliver high-quality solutions in a fast-paced Agile environment , ensuring quick adaptation and turnaround with minimal or no documentation.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong work ethic and commitment to delivering results on time.
  • Extensive experience working and integrating with Salesforce Sales Cloud and Salesforce Marketing Cloud is required .
  • Experience working in a hybrid model (3 days onsite, 2 remote) with a local presence in or near Naperville, IL .
  • Experience with Amazon Connect integration is highly preferred.
  • Strong understanding of Salesforce architecture, design, and development best practices.


Preferred Skills:

  • Familiarity with Amazon Connect for call center solutions and its integration with Salesforce.
  • Experience working with Agile methodologies and tools like Jira, Confluence, etc.
  • Knowledge of Lightning Web Components (LWC), Visualforce, Apex, and SOQL.
  • Ability to mentor and guide junior developers when necessary.
