Senior Credit Analyst – Your Role
You will work with a team of Transaction Coordinators/Underwriters, supporting the document gathering and evaluation of collateral strength (real estate) and borrower creditworthiness.
- Obtain all required documents to support the loan (including tax returns, borrower financial statements, credit reports, ability to pay assessment, refinance documents, appraisal of property / inspections, a title report, other underlying documents to assess the creditworthiness of both the prospective borrower and the real estate securing the transaction
- Evaluate the documentation required and ask the providers follow up questions for any items requiring further investigation or any items of potential concern
- Conduct interview with the prospective borrower to obtain needed information
A successful Senior Credit Analyst obtains and critically evaluates documentation as it is received, identifies and asks great questions based on their analysis, and provides a seamless origination process.
Senior Credit Analyst - Required Skills & Experience
You are:
- Proactive and organized – you are always on top of your list and a master organizer
- Versed in understanding of credit risk assessment and underwriting guidelines
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Able to work in office in Sacramento daily with the team
- Experienced with reviewing tax filings (1120 S Corp, 1065 LLC and 1040 and related K-1s)
Senior Credit Analyst - You Might Have (Desired Not Required)
- Experience working in commercial real estate in a Transaction Coordinator or related role (including reviewing real estate appraisals)
- Experience working in a loan servicing department within a bank, financial institution, private equity, hard money lender or private money business
- Experience working with Salesforce CRM and The Mortgage Office (TMO) software
- Real Estate Salesperson license issued by California Department of Real Estate
Your compensation will be $71,000 or higher, plus additional bonus opportunity.
