Position Summary :

The Sales Account Manager position r epresents the company in sales and engineering activities focused on assigned OEM accounts in the trucking industry. This manager maintains relationships, collects customer feedback, persuades customers to buy and resolves conflicts. They are also responsible for identifiing new customers.

Responsibilities

Sales Account Manager Responsibilities:

  • Manages the process of selling multiple product lines to OEM accounts.
  • Identifies new customers for Horton products.
  • Develops personal relationships with client staff.
  • Provides input on design opportunities through frequent dialogue with company technical staff.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Sales Account Manager Qualifications:

  • The position requires skills and knowledge consistent with a bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or equivalent. Note: equivalent education equals 2 years of closely related experience for 1 year of education.
  • Four or more years of related OEM sales experience.
  • Transportation/trucking industry experience preferred.
  • Position requires up to 60% travel, domestic and some international.
  • Must have legal authorization to work in the United States. We do not provide Visa sponsorship.
