Education : BS or 5 years’ experience.

Experience :

5+ years’ experience with Autodesk software in a supporting role (i.e. AutoCAD, Inventor, Fusion, AutoCAD Electrical, Fusion Manage, Autodesk Vault, PLM/PDM software). Installation and configuration of Autodesk Product Design and Manufacturing (PDMC) software. Experience in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, Information Technology (IT), Design Computing, or Computer Science Design Computing. Experience in other engineering and design applications would be a plus

Experience helping users on software and/or supporting software applications in an organization preferred.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Establish and maintain working relationships with customers as a technical trusted advisor
  • Demonstrating thought leadership and product expertise to help customers achieve goals identified in customer success plans.
  • Innovating and delivering packaged service offerings to increase customer success and new product adoption.
  • Provide support for the Sales team for incoming Autodesk related technical support requests from customers.
  • Research, verify, and document product defects
  • Remain informed on improvements in Installation and Licensing technology.
  • Utilizing customer input, assist in generating sales tools, materials, or content that clearly articulate the advantages of Autodesk solutions.
  • Recognize and pass on potential leads for customers that are uncovered during support calls.
  • Follow up calls to customers to make sure they are using and adopting their software.
  • Less pre-sales and more delivery focused.
  • Delivery of defined projects relating to Autodesk Manufacturing Solutions. AutoCAD, AutoCAD Electrical, Inventor, Fusion, Factory Design, Flex-Sim, Vault, Fusion Manage.
  • Provide training to Customers.

Required Qualifications:

  • Basic troubleshooting skills in Microsoft Windows
  • Working knowledge of VMware, SQL and Server architecture
  • Ability to quickly identify/troubleshoot problems and provide solutions
  • Outstanding verbal (English) and written communication skills
  • Highly motivated self-starter, willing to travel primarily in Michigan and Ohio but may extend to other locations in the US
  • Ability to conduct self in group setting as a leader and expert
  • Autodesk Vault usage experience
  • Autodesk Vault installation and configuration experience
  • Autodesk Inventor design experience
  • Assist helpdesk with customer support coordinated by Autodesk Helpdesk technician
  • Experience presenting and demonstrating Vault software with Inventor/AutoCAD integration
  • Autodesk Design and Manufacturing (PDMC) experience. Must have working knowledge of all software included in the collection.
  • CAD, PLM, IT, or programming background.
  • AutoCAD Electrical expertise a plus
  • Fusion Manage experience a plus
  • Vault PLM experience a plus
