DescriptionThis role is responsible for financial analysis (investment analytics) supporting the Long Term Planning (LTP) team to solve capacity and maximize asset utilization for 100+ North America Sort Centers (NASC).Key job responsibilitiesCreate discounted cash flow models (NPV, payback, cash flow, etc) comparing different business scenariosResponsible for financial analysis of Capital Appropriation Requests (CAR) that are approved by several senior finance and business leadersProvide insights into capacity utilization metricsQuantify low cost peaking solutions to improve full year asset utilizationCreate financial analysis of colocation strategy with other Amazon business units to maximize our asset utilizationBasic QualificationsBachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, economics, or a related analytical field (e.g., engineering, math, computer science)5+ years of finance experience, or Master’s degree and 3+ years of finance experiencePreferred QualificationsMBA, or CFAExperience working with large-scale data mining and reporting tools (i.e. SQL, MS Power Query, Python)Experience working with DCF models6+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience6+ years of solving complex business challenges by delivering accurate and timely financial models, analysis, and recommendations that have a proven impact on business (e.g., financial savings, operational improvements, or customer benefits) experience6+ years of identifying, leading, and executing opportunities to improve, automate, standardize or simplify finance or business tools and processes experienceExperience in Excel (macros, index, conditional list, arrays, pivots, lookups)Amazon is committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace. The base pay for this position ranges from $85,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $179,500/year in our highest geographic market.
