Process Technician- Extrusion Tech Location: 55311 Position type: Temp to hire Schedule: Second shift Pay: $24/HR We are seeking a hands-on Extrusion Tech to join our 2nd shift team. This role will support the daily processes, materials, and equipment related to extruded components for medical devices, ensuring production goals are met. Key Responsibilities: Identify and troubleshoot process, material, or equipment issues to minimize downtime and meet production targets. Modify existing tooling and fixtures; develop new ones as needed. Collaborate with vendors and suppliers to procure and install tooling, fixtures, and equipment. Partner with engineers on continuous improvement projects and new product transfers. Work closely with departmental customers to enhance material and process quality. Address and resolve safety, health, and environmental issues related to processes or equipment, ensuring compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP). Assist in writing and executing validation protocols and technical reports. Minimum Requirements: High School Diploma required; technical degree preferred. On-the-job training is favorable. Minimum of 6 months of extrusion experience, with a solid understanding of extrusion terminology. Polymer processing experience. Strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on experience.
