The International Financial Reporting Manager researches, analyzes and interprets accounting and financial reporting issues and unique transactions for various jurisdictions, including identification of key differences in accounting standards for each jurisdiction's local reporting (e.g. IFRS) to US Statutory and US GAAP, and recommends solutions or conclusions.

This position will be in Omaha, NE, and eligible for hybrid after training. This position is not eligible for employer visa sponsorship.

What will you do?

  1. Assist senior management with establishing consistent reporting procedures across international regions for consolidated entity reporting and reducing redundancy and region specific procedures where possible.
  2. Lead efforts on implementation of new international reporting requirements.
  3. Analyze internal control design to assess effectiveness of existing controls in assigned areas and to recommend design of new processes and establishment of controls when necessary.
  4. Analyze and interpret financial information and prepare summaries and schedules related to assigned companies, branches and/or divisions.
  5. Respond to inquiries from external and internal auditors regarding financial balances, transactions, applications, and procedures.
  6. Identify process improvement and automation opportunities for assigned workflow and ensure completion of analysis and review of various monthly and quarterly reconciliations relating to assigned companies, branches and/or divisions.

What are we looking for?

  1. Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent work experience.
  2. Three or more years related work experience.
  3. General and Statutory accounting principles.

  2. Someone with experience in management skills, including motivation, delegation, organizing workflow, training, planning, and prioritization.
  3. Someone who can organize many different tasks simultaneously, can meet deadlines and works accurately with attention to detail.
  4. Willing to work substantial amounts of overtime during seasonal demand.
