The Business Systems Analyst will work with leadership, clinicians, and staff using a combination of project management, process improvement, documentation, and communication skills to design and promote reporting solutions using WHA data from clinical and business systems. Works with current software tools to build reports, QA reports, and gather feedback from end users.

  • This is a 40 hr/week position, Monday - Friday.

DUTIES

  • Work with staff and clinicians to identify reporting gaps within WHA, explore potential reporting solutions with subject matter experts, and clearly document all software requirements.
  • Using Microsoft data tools to design and build data models using data from multiple sources. Use PowerBI and Excel to build and refine data reports.
  • Work with Business Intelligence Developers to identify and document needed reports and analysis requirements. Work with subject matter experts to obtain clarifications and further define requirements.
  • Work with analysis and reporting tools to gain insight into WHA data and clarify report software requirements.
  • Build documentation for training, support, and ongoing maintenance of reporting solutions.
  • Advocate across WHA for data-supported decision-making. Work with leadership, staff, and clinicians to facilitate the use of business intelligence to make decisions.
  • Identify data quality issues in line of business systems, design solutions under clinical and administrative guidance and implement in a manner that is acceptable to all stakeholders.
  • Work with IT Director to recommend reporting and business intelligence software.
  • Build complex reporting solutions in PowerBI that meet the needs of staff, leadership, and clinicians.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Healthcare Administration or Informatics, or the equivalent combination of classroom and/or job-related experience.
  • Experience working in a medical group setting preferred, preferably in OB/GYN.
  • Experience documenting and obtaining requirements for reporting projects.
