Job Designation
Quality Systems Engineer 2 role provides a range of expertise to ensure that the products are free of flaws and function as designed. The QSE will participate in assuring high reliability and proper performance per product requirements.


Job Core Responsibilities

  1. Oversees effective implementation of Quality Management System throughout the company, including any business (quality) accreditations.
  2. Organize and manage the site Internal Audit Program.
  3. Lead cross-functional team of auditors as "Lead Auditor".
  4. Host external audits.
  5. Analyze audit results and determine proper corrective and preventative (risk) action.
  6. Analyze current and future procedural needs of the business.
  7. Maintain site procedural content and coordinate the issuing of these documents.
  8. Support and implement other functional areas where applicable of Group Business Management Systems "GBMS" requirement for the site.
  9. Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
  10. Collate quality data for monitoring targets.
  11. Report on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) in order to adhere to process and prevent occurrence of any non-conformity relating to product, process or system.
  12. Support other functional areas with Quality Compliance needs.
  13. Manage site Qpulse "Electronic Quality Management System" and assist other functional areas as required.
  14. Other responsibilities as assigned.
  15. Regular, consistent and punctual attendance is required. May need to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) and additional hours as necessary.

Job Specifications

  1. Education: Post-secondary degree in Engineering or equivalent combination of relevant education and work experience that will allow successful performance of job expectations.
  2. Years Experience: min 3 years of relevant experience.
  3. Skills:
  4. Knowledge of complex Quality Engineering processes and regulatory requirements.
  5. Excellent ability to apply a systematic and analytical approach to problem-solving.
  6. Advanced knowledge and ability to apply core concepts of engineering.
  7. Ability to interpret internal/external business challenges and make recommendations for improvements to products, processes or services.
  8. Ability to explain a range of complex technical information.
  9. Demonstrated analytical skills to proactively identify and solve problems.
  10. Effective interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills to drive tasks to completion.
