Technology Product Owner

Duration: 12 months+ (Potential for Extension or Conversion)

Location: Hybrid - Onsite 3 days/week (Irving, TX 75039)

Required Skills & Responsibilities:

• Experience: 10-15 years of overall experience with at least 3-5 years as a Product Owner. A prior technical background, such as experience as an IT Business Analyst or Functional Analyst, is preferred.
• Banking Domain Expertise: Strong background in banking, with a focus on Risk Management, including areas such as Credit Risk, Consumer Oversight, Retail Risk, Market Risk, and Regulatory Reporting (e.g., CCAR, CECL, FDIC, FRY-9C).
• Key Responsibilities:
• Lead the development process by defining project scope, creating product vision, prioritizing user stories, and setting feature-level priorities.
• Conduct demos, walkthroughs, and facilitate stakeholder communication to ensure alignment.
• Ensure Business Analysts and team members write user stories and tasks that meet the "Definition of Ready."
• Serve as the voice of the customer by aligning with other product teams and understanding stakeholder priorities.
• Maintain and prioritize the product backlog effectively.
• Oversee and perform user acceptance testing, identify and resolve defects, and approve final testing results.
• Technology & Business Expertise: Must have strong business acumen combined with sufficient technical literacy to bridge the gap between stakeholders and development teams.
