What You’ll Do
- The Senior Manager Compliance Programs, Quality Assurance role within the Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC) department will be responsible for the development and execution of the Quality Assurance activities for Issues Management. This includes managing a team of quality reviewers to ensure adherence to applicable Company Policy and Standards. In addition to these core functions, the Senior Manager Compliance Program, Quality Assurance will have periodic involvement in exams and audits. This role will also be responsible for developing and maintaining reporting and sharing those results with key stakeholders across the Issue Management program.
How You’ll Do It
Manages a team that maintains and enhances regulatory and compliance program components. Provides support, coaching, and counsel to the team. Manages the development of team members by authoring and assigning goals, conducting periodic coaching and feedback reviews, and administering annual performance evaluations.
Engages with business and risk partners to develop compliant solutions to mitigate and remediate compliance risks; escalates risks appropriately
Lead and manage cross functional work groups and workstreams from multiple first line and second line business units.

Creates and updates status reports of program initiatives, activities, and compliance risks to management and committees
Qualifications You’ll Need
The Basics
Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or Management, Security and Intelligence, Law, Information Technology, Analytics, Finance or related field.
8 + years of understanding Compliance Management System and ability to implement and manage a compliance risk management program.
In lieu of education, 10+ years Understanding of Compliance Management System and ability to implement and manage a compliance risk management program.

1+ years of Compliance, law, risk, operations, or Related
1 + years of Relevant experience in the financial services industry
8+ Years of experience preferred in the following areas:
Models, champions, and reinforces a risk culture of compliance andtransparency preferred.
Applies general understanding of risk identification and assessmentprocesses, tools and techniques to provide oversight and challengeto risk measurement activities
Demonstrates knowledge and understanding of compliance lawsand regulations.
Demonstrates knowledge of the Compliance Management Systemcomponents related to:
Policies and procedures, and clear communication of intendedprocedural expectations and process.
Governance and reporting processes that provides a mechanismto identify, manage and escalate risks according to the organization'srisk appetite.
Evaluation of and/or challenges processes, new/existing productsor services, regulatory changes, customer communications, and/ortechnologies to ensure Compliance risks are identified and mitigated.
Identification and escalation of compliance risk management issuesin a timely and effective manner, including ability to manage,monitor, and report on issues and development of action plans.
Risk monitoring and testing activities to determine whetherregulatory requirements are being adhered to and/or Controls areoperating effectively.
Identification of regulatory risks and adequate risk mitigants, as well as effectively challenging assessment of controls to prevent,detect, and correct errors.
Handling of complaints, evaluating business initiatives and providing
research on potential regulatory impacts.
Due diligence on new and existing Third-Party engagements
commensurate with the level of compliance risk involved in the
services being provided.
Comprehensive, risk-based Compliance training specifically tailored
to job roles and responsibilities.
Effective communication (written and verbal) that includes core components of active listening, persuasiveness, collaboration, and conciseness when meeting with and presenting to peers, various levels of leadership and other lines of business
Build partnerships and work collaboratively with others to meet shared
objectives.
Optimizes work processes with a focus on continuous improvement.
CRCM or CERP Certification preferred upon hire.

Compensation:
The base pay for this position generally ranges between $103,000.00 to $174,200.00. Additional incentives may be provided as part of a market competitive total compensation package. Factors, such as but not limited to, geographical location, relevant experience, education, and skill level may impact the pay for this position.
