Regional Vice President of Sales

Valicor is looking for a professional and experienced Regional VP of Sales to join our team. As the Regional VP of sales, you will oversee a team of field-based Territory Sales Managers for Valicor’s Midwest Region, ensuring Sales goals are met in accordance with expectations.

Typical duties and responsibilities

  • Develop effective selling strategies aligned to the company’s market, products, services, and sales goals
  • Work with Valicor executive team to determine and execute sales plans to meet organizational needs
  • Perform day-to-day oversight, coaching and management of assigned team of Territory Sales Managers
  • Set and manage sales department budgets
  • Track, analyze, and report on sales metrics to senior leadership
  • Facilitate current client relationships and grow new ones
  • Analyze market trends and plan sales strategies accordingly
  • Effectively lead sales team by partnering with the Operations organization; achieve revenue and margin targets while ensuring all associated compliance and safety standards are met
  • Team with the marketing department to increase ROI and design effective marketing campaigns and associated materials

Education and experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration or a related field required
  • Extensive experience in sales, preferably in a directly related industry. Minimum of 7 years experience specifically in Sales leadership roles.

Required skills and qualifications

  • Robust leadership abilities and an innovative attitude
  • Experience in sales, customer service, or related field; preferably in a leadership role
  • Familiarity with CRM platforms
  • Strong analytical, written, and verbal communication skills
  • Knowledge of and insight into market trends, with an ability to think strategically
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Self-motivated and driven to succeed
