The Client Manager works in a fast-paced, dynamic environment alongside subject matter experts, project management, and operations staff within the Revenue Services and Case Management business line.
Responsibilities
The Client Manager works in a fast-paced, dynamic environment alongside subject matter experts, project management, and operations staff within the Revenue Services and Case Management business line. This position provides motivated individuals an opportunity to contribute to the success of exciting educational initiatives nationally. The Client Manager is responsible for managing, maintaining, and growing client relationships with state agency and local education agency (school district) stakeholders. This will be accomplished through direct client interaction, as well as collaboration with internal teams. This role must effectively integrate capabilities in client management and project management. The Client Manager will be responsible for the coordination, implementation, execution, and completion of assigned Case Management projects ensuring consistency with company strategy, commitments, and goals while maintaining the highest levels of client satisfaction and compliance. The Client Manager is expected to be a self-starter who can quickly learn our web-based technology offerings. They will be flexible, reliable, detail-oriented, enthusiastic, and must have the ability to manage multiple tasks and clients simultaneously. The Client Manager will also play a significant role in business development, including performing market research and analysis, leading sales meetings, writing proposals, and participating in local conferences.
Client Management
Learn/Understand Federal, state, and local Special Education policies as they pertain to our education clients
Focus on developing long-term client relationships – expand influence, increase retention, solve issues, and drive satisfaction
Responsible for the coordination, implementation, execution, and completion of assigned projects ensuring consistency with company strategy, commitments, and goals
Assist in managing an established professional services portfolio for Southeast School Districts and Charter Schools in the K-12 Education sector
Lead client engagements/interactions with clients (e.g., client meetings, communication via email and telephone)
Coordinate the delivery of services among different program activities to increase effectiveness and efficiency
Proactively identify problems and provide solutions to clients
Assess best practices and program risks
Business Development & Growth
Identify opportunities to work with new clients and expand services with current clients
Participate in discovery conversations
Lead or support demonstrations of our software solutions
Create and manage documents such as pricing letters, proposals, and contracts
Collaboration & Coordination
Contribute to a professional and respectful team dynamic with a culture of mutual accountability
Deliver results in terms of client success metrics, both individually and collaboratively
Collaborate and coordinate with team members to meet our clients’ needs. Examples include:
Coordinate the creation of status update meeting materials, respond to system, data, or reporting requests, and evolve our services based on training and help desk feedback
Work with team members to understand implications of policy shifts and effectively communicate with clients, track trends, and ensure adherence to contractual obligations
Serve as the client contact re: change request process, taking independent or collaborative action to achieve results
Qualifications
Education/Experience:
Bachelor’s Degree Required
2+ years of relevant work experience in the fields of Business, Sales, Education, Technology, Government, or the Consulting field

Highly organized and skilled at prioritization
Flexible, self-starter possessing intellectual curiosity
Strong understanding and commitment to working in a team-oriented environment
Ability to use sound judgment in completing tasks independently and to seek guidance, when needed
Creative problem-solving ability and willingness to develop a consultancy mindset
Ability to manage multiple tasks or clients simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
Ability to be decisive, consistent, transparent, and open to feedback
Effective communication skills (presentation, facilitation, and written)

Demonstrated expertise in MS Office products, particularly PowerPoint, Excel and Word
Travel Required: 25-50%; mostly local
K-12 Education and/or project management experience is preferred
