The Oklahoma City Thunder is looking for a Staff Accountant to join our accounting department! In this role, you will need strong skills in recording daily transactions, calculating fees, and reporting financial data accurately. In this role you will:
  • Record daily cash activity using the Archtics ticketing system
  • Record suite payments from the Archtics ticketing system
  • Process returned payments and notify relevant departments
  • Calculate and record monthly credit card fees
  • Complete assigned month-end journal entries
  • Perform other duties as assigned
What you'll bring to the role:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting with a minimum of 2 years of experience
  • Accounts Receivable experience is a plus
  • Knowledge of Great Plains Dynamics is preferred
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Word and Excel
  • Strong attention to detail, with the ability to prioritize tasks
  • Proficient in 10-key by touch
  • Strong critical thinking skills for effective problem-solving
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
  • Strong organizational, communication, and listening skills

Additional Details:
The primary work location is the Thunder's corporate office located in downtown Oklahoma City. This is a full-time, non-exempt position reporting to the Accounting Manager.
