Frontend Engineer, Generative AI In Office (Mountain View, CA)

About the Role

We're seeking a talented and experienced Frontend Engineer to join our dynamic startup team. In this role, you'll be responsible for building and maintaining high-quality, responsive, and user-friendly web applications. You'll work closely with our product and design teams to bring innovative ideas to life and contribute to the growth of our product.

Key Responsibilities

1. Develop and implement new features and functionality using React, TypeScript, and Tailwind CSS
2. Collaborate with designers to translate UI/UX designs into functional and visually appealing interfaces
3. Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability
4. Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs
5. Participate in code reviews and maintain code quality standards
6. Troubleshoot and debug issues in frontend applications
7. Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and best practices in frontend development

Required Qualifications

1. 3+ years of professional experience in frontend development
2. Strong proficiency in React, TypeScript, and Tailwind CSS
3. Solid understanding of responsive design principles and cross-browser compatibility
4. Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git)
5. Familiarity with RESTful APIs and modern frontend build pipelines
6. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
7. Excellent communication and collaboration skills
8. Previous experience working in a startup environment

Preferred Qualifications

1. Experience with Ruby on Rails
2. Knowledge of state management libraries (e.g., Redux, MobX)
3. Familiarity with testing frameworks (e.g., Jest, React Testing Library)
4. Experience with GraphQL
5. Contributions to open-source projects
