Our client, a popular gifting brand, is seeking an Account Coordinator, Vendor Relations to join their team in Jericho, New York!
Responsibilities:
- Analyze and evaluate the fulfillment efficacy, quality, and performance of approximately 300 vendors in an assigned geographical territory on a daily basis.
- Identify vendors that are not performing according to expectations and evaluate best course of action
- Develop close relationships with the vendors in their assigned territory, and manage communications via phone and email.
- Ensure that any and all questions/issues from a vendor are handled in a timely and highly professional manner.
- Represent vendor needs within the organization to ensure consistent order fulfillment quality.
- Completion of Order Moves & Rejections via system.
- Review and approve ship test and box-fitting for new products .
- Complete daily reports regarding inventories and distribute.
Qualifications:
- Be dependable and have good work ethics with a positive can do attitude.
- Have a collaborative personality and be excited to work with a team to be successful.
- Have the ability to analyze problems, create solutions, and multi task with attention to detail.
- Have a track record of preventative problem solving, while being comfortable with short deadlines and occasional high stress environments
- Exhibits high sense of urgency and ability to manage multiple priorities at once.
- Strong communication, time management, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational, written, verbal, and computer literacy skills with advanced Excel skills
- Ability to work well within a team environment.
- Ability to work independently with direction from supervisor.
