Relationship Specialists work collaboratively with Chartway team members to create personal experiences and provide financial solutions for Chartway’s members.Responsibleand Accountable for:Creates an environment of exceptional member service that provides sound financial wellness and consultative advice for our membersDevelops and builds relationships with Chartway’s member base through proactive outreach and follow upProactively collaborates and communicates with the branch team and other departments to successfully find solutions for membersEasily transitions between job functions and responsibilities within the branch to effectively respond to members’ needsResponsible for positively representing Chartway in the communityEfficiently & accurately performs member transactions and can easily assist members with new account establishment, personal financing, real estate lending, investment referrals, and small business deposit productsAccountable for branch operations, compliance, best practices, and federal regulationsKnowledge,Skills and Abilities:Ability to develop strong relationships in a warm and professional mannerProficient oral, written, and communication skillsRespond, establish, and maintain control when handling challenging situationsDemonstrated sense of ownership and ability to meet deadlinesKnowledge and embodiment of diversity and inclusion best practices; ability to work collaboratively with individuals and groups from various identities, cultures, and backgroundsWillingness to take on new challenges in a dynamic and changing environment and work gracefully under pressureFundamental analysis and problem-solving skills.Basic experience with MS Office - PowerPoint, Word, and ExcelAble to handle confidential information with discretionKnowledge of credit union policies, procedures and processes related to the credit union and the product and services it offersAbility to understand and be aware of possible suspicious activities or transactions by members or by team members, directors, executives, or officers of the credit Union. Promptly notify management as required by credit union policy if unusual activity is observed which could be an indication of financial crime or efforts to evade reporting requirements of the Bank Secrecy Act or other laws and regulationEducation and Experience:Education: Associate’s or equivalent experienceExperience: 1-3 years’ experience in in providing top notch customer service, imaginative problem resolution and relationship buildingChartway offers a competitive salary and a comprehensive benefits package.
