Tax Manager

Job Duties:

• Manage and mentor staff, where applicable, in work to be performed and work paper preparation.
• Prepare and review complex individual, trust, corporate, partnership, and S-Corp income tax returns and state income tax returns.
• Meet time budgets and client deadlines.
• Interact with clients' to resolve tax issues.
• Assess the tax compliance requirements to ensure that clients timely comply with tax laws and regulations to meet their federal and state tax obligations.
• Correspond with taxing authorities to resolve client problems.
• Participate in firm's practice development efforts including expanding services to clients.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Masters in Taxation preferred
• CPA License
• 5+ years CPA firm experience, supervisory/management experience preferred
• Ability to train, supervise and review the work of staff
• Experience in Microsoft Office products and tax preparation software
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to establish workload priorities and perform assigned tasks on engagements or projects in a timely manner and within budget.
• Strong experience in tax return preparation and review

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $90,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
