ASRC Federal Broadleaf, Inc. is currently seeking an EDM Administrator & Modeler in Quantico, VA. This position is approved for a hybrid work schedule (1-2 days per week on-site).

JOB DESCRIPTION:


  1. Provide data management services in support of the Enterprise Data Management (EDM) Program. Support Data Administrators and Data Stewards with the ongoing operations, maintenance, and administration in one or more data management areas, such as data services, data quality, master data management, data definitions, etc. Assist the EDM Program Team and/or a Data Steward in executing data administration and management activities.
  2. Provide Data Modelers responsible for capturing and modeling data requirements, data definitions, business rules, data quality requirements, and conceptual, logical, and physical data models. Support the EDM Program in building data models that describe data and its relationships, to support business and technical objectives within the EDM program and the organization.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

EXPERIENCE:

  1. At least three (3) years of experience involving data administration, quality, analysis, or related data management discipline.
  2. Execute data administration activities as directed by and under the guidance of Data Stewards and/or the EDM Program Manager.
  3. Support the execution of data quality management, master data management (MDM), and metadata administration and management processes.
  4. Assist with the update, maintenance, and completeness of data records in the data inventory, data registry, and data catalog. Provide status reports and metrics on accuracy, completeness, due dates for actions, and discrepancies.
  5. Serve as the intermediary between developers and data analyst(s) and/or EDM Information Architect, emphasizing the review of any additions or changes to business data requirements.
  6. Select a suitable data modeling approach for each project by assessing existing data models' suitability.
  7. Develop and maintain all conceptual and logical data models under the direction/guidance of the Information Architect.
  8. Reconcile multiple logical source models into a single, logically consistent, conceptual model.
  9. Contribute towards the design of all physical data models.
  10. Ensure proposed models follow data architecture guidelines and best practices.
  11. Knowledge of RMF, NIST SP 800-53, data classification, storage & retention regulations, and other applicable DoD Cybersecurity policies.
  12. Possess strong writing skills; experience preparing enterprise-wide SOPs and reports for high-level officials.

EDUCATION:

  1. Bachelor's degree in business information systems (IS), computer science, or related field; project management and/or general business management or equivalent related IT experience.

CLEARANCE:

  1. Active TS/SCI Clearance or Active Secret with the ability to obtain TS/SCI.
