EGM Partners are working with Diverseco to recruit a State Manager – WA. Working across the sales and service teams, a commercial sales and operational professional is being sought to ensure the company is able to meet their current and future business objectives.

About the role

Working within the Senior Leadership team, and reporting to the Chief Operations Officer, you will oversee the sales and service teams in WA and spearhead the delivery of cutting-edge weighing and automation technologies. The role involves building strong relationships with current customers and creating a pipeline of future growth opportunities whilst leading the sales team.


Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute strategic plans to achieve sales targets and increase market penetration, P&L management for the state operations.
  • Drive exceptional leadership and mentoring of the sales, service and administration teams to continue a positive culture within the state branch.
  • Foster strong relationships with existing and potential clients understanding their needs and providing exceptional customer service.
  • Conduct market research, competitive analysis and prospecting to identify new business opportunities.
  • Collaborate with cross functional teams to ensure seamless coordination and execution of projects.
About you

You are a sales hunter with a strong desire to step into a leadership role. You thrive on driving new business while simultaneously leading the branch to growth. This role will require you to do both—actively pursue sales opportunities and provide strategic leadership.

You will also have a solid understanding of P&L management and key cost drivers to ensure profitable growth and operational efficiency. You are a diligent and adaptable individual with a strong track record of achievement in a similar role. You possess excellent verbal and written communication skills and excel at building meaningful relationships with diverse stakeholders.


You will possess the following
  • Proven experience working as a State Manager, Sales Manager, or similar role.
  • Degree qualifications in Business Administration, Engineering or related field.
  • Exceptional leadership abilities with a track record of managing high performance teams and achieving sales targets.
  • High level of influencing, leadership, and engagement skills, and the ability to build effective and collaborative working relationships.
  • Demonstrated high level written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to successfully implement change and convey information to a wide range of team members.
  • Demonstrated experience and understanding of Lean manufacturing / 5S / Six Sigma.
  • A network of contacts in a like for like industry who enjoy working with you.
