We are seeking a dynamic and innovative Product Applications Engineer specializing in Fluid Power for a permanent position in our Engineering team. This role is ideal for someone who has a deep understanding of fluid power, MD Tools, hydraulics, and customer interactions. As a Product Applications Engineer, you will be responsible for the application of fluid power products and systems, assisting customers with product selection, troubleshooting, and resolution of technical issues. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with a team of dedicated professionals in a fast-paced, challenging, and rewarding environment.
Responsibilities:
1. Provide technical support to customers on fluid power products and systems, including troubleshooting and problem resolution.
2. Assist in the selection and application of fluid power products and systems to meet customer requirements.
3. Develop and deliver technical presentations and training to customers, sales team, and other stakeholders.
4. Collaborate with the product development team to design and develop new fluid power products and improve existing ones.
5. Conduct product testing and analysis to ensure product performance and quality.
6. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, technologies, and regulatory standards related to fluid power.
7. Collaborate with the sales team to provide technical expertise during customer visits and sales presentations.
8. Participate in the preparation of technical proposals and quotes.
9. Provide feedback and recommendations to the product management team on product enhancements, market trends, and customer needs.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a related field.
2. Minimum of 3 years of experience in fluid power, hydraulics, or a related field.
3. Proficiency in MD Tools or similar software.
4. Strong understanding of fluid power principles, hydraulic systems, and related technologies.
5. Proven experience in customer interactions, with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts in a clear and concise manner.
6. Excellent problem-solving skills, with a strong attention to detail.
7. Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
8. Strong presentation and training skills, with a customer-focused mindset.
9. Familiarity with industry standards and regulatory requirements related to fluid power.
10. Willingness to travel as required for customer visits and sales presentations.
