Role Description
CoStar Group is seeking Product Managers who will be responsible for creating product vision and strategy for specific components of the CoStar data and analytic platform. In this role, you will be responsible for everything from discovery and ideation to testing and delivery of new product features and enhancements that will drive value for our customers. You will operate as a collaborative partner with our Sales, Marketing, and Technology organizations to project manage and drive to fruition new product. We are looking for individuals with expertise in the following areas of Commercial Real Estate:
- Investment Sales
- Appraisals/Asset Management
- Data & Analytics
- Leasing
This position is located in Richmond, VA and will require relocation for anyone not located in Richmond today.
Responsibilities
- Leveraging market and customer insights, build creative products that enhance CoStar customers' experience with our products and provide them with tools to make better business decisions.
- Take ownership of the product road map from inception through to release of new features and enhancements.
- Drive product releases in a fast-paced Agile software development environment. This includes writing user stories (requirements), prioritizing releases, maintaining a product roadmap and backlog, and creating release notes.
- Work closely with senior executives, UI design, engineering, QA, marketing, and sales to strategize, plan, and build products and plans that meet aggressive expectations on usage and revenue.
- Understand and analyze customer needs and communicate those needs to other team members to build key use cases.
- Organize user testing, collect feedback, and organize into actionable development priorities.
- Plan & execute product/feature deployments to our large subscriber base.
- Use customer data & usage analytics to inform product opportunities and evaluate results.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor's degree required; MBA preferred.
- A track record of commitment to prior employers and success in previous roles.
- 8+ years of Product Management experience or an equivalent role with commercial real estate domain expertise.
- Commercial Real Estate experience with experience in at least one of the following: Appraisal; valuation; acquisition/dispositions; investment; corporate real estate; or leasing.
- Experience defining and detailing product requirements and launching products/functionality enhancements to meet customer needs.
- Managed sprint schedules and resources in an agile-scrum development environment.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
- Experience shaping & executing product or data strategy for a SaaS information product, real estate products, or similar product presenting business information, reporting, and analytics.
