Programs Field Representative
H11A AFS Annual Salary $52,642.81 + Full State Employee Benefits
Travel is occasional. Must possess a valid driver's license and maintain required car insurance.
This position is required to work daily in an office.
Preferred Minimum Qualifications

  • A master's degree and three years of professional experience in social work, child support, adult protective services, child welfare, early childhood development and education, guidance and counseling, nursing, intellectual disability, probation and parole, public administration, community-based prevention, and diversionary youth services programs, juvenile justice, rehabilitation counseling, vocational evaluation or vocational rehabilitation;
  • OR an equivalent combination and experience, substituting 1 additional year of qualifying experience for each year of the required education.
*Professional experience in the fields listed must have been the primary job responsibility to be considered as qualifying. Incidental performance of professional work in any area(s) shall not be considered.
Job Responsibilities:
  • Training Delivery: Conduct training sessions for new hires at various satellite locations in person and virtually. This includes presenting modules related to specific programs such as SNAP, ABD Medical Services, Child Care Subsidy, TANF, and Long Term Care Services, ensuring the training is tailored to meet the diverse learning styles and needs of the trainees, fostering a supportive and inclusive learning environment that encourages active participation and mastery of the subject matter.
  • On-the-Job Training Management: Direct, and support each assigned new hire during their on-the-job training phase. This involves observing their application of learned skills in practical settings, providing immediate feedback, and addressing any learning gaps.
  • Performance Monitoring and Reporting: Monitor and evaluate the progress of each assigned trainee, conducting detailed case reviews of eligibility determinations, recording detailed observations about their competencies and areas for improvement. Regularly report these findings to their field supervisor and the training program managers, ensuring that any necessary adjustments to the training approach are communicated and implemented effectively.
  • Coordination and Collaboration: Actively collaborate with module trainers, training coordinators, and field supervisors to ensure a seamless integration of training content and support systems for the trainees. Facilitate communication and coordination among these roles to address trainee-specific needs and challenges, enhancing the overall effectiveness and responsiveness of the training experience. This includes aligning resources and support to optimize each trainee's development and readiness for their role within the agency.
