Job Requirements / Description

The Director of Talent is responsible for ensuring proper training throughout the entire restaurant. They will lead talent acquisition, development, retention, and performance strategies. They’re responsible for creating and maintaining a positive work environment that promotes growth, and a strong alignment with our Vision and Values. They are the point of contact regarding culture and training.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Development

  1. Encourage, and coach team members daily to achieve Chick-fil-A’s standards for food safety, quality, and guest experience.
  2. Collaborate with other Directors to create development and ongoing calibration plans for team members.
  3. Design, implement, and improve upon training and internal leadership progression and development programs.
  4. Identify and develop leadership talent within the restaurant to create a strong succession pipeline.

Retention

  1. Develop and execute strategies to improve team member engagement, satisfaction, and retention.
  2. Conduct regular assessments of team member satisfaction and implement initiatives to address concerns.
  3. Foster a positive and inclusive work environment to ensure a healthy culture that aligns with our restaurant’s Vision and Values.

Performance Management

  1. Oversee the performance review process, ensuring it is fair, consistent, and aligned with restaurant’s Vision and Values.
  2. Provide guidance and support to leaders in setting performance goals and providing constructive feedback.
  3. Implement programs to recognize and reward outstanding team member performance.

Records and Compliance

  1. Ensure restaurant compliance with all relevant employment laws and regulations.
  2. Manage and regularly audit required team member performance evaluations.
  3. Maintain, update, and annually audit team member files for accuracy and completeness.
  4. Ensure proper documentation and tracking of team member disciplinary procedures.

SCHEDULE

  1. Full-time with overtime opportunities.
  2. Availability required: Monday through Friday. Some opening, closing and Saturday shifts may be required.

QUALIFICATIONS

  1. 2 years of Leadership/Management experience.
  2. 1 year of training or teaching experience (preferred).
  3. Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field (preferred).
  4. Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and build relationships at all levels of the restaurant.
  5. Proven experience in developing and implementing successful talent strategies.
  6. Able to anticipate needs, oversee multiple projects, and manage shifting priorities.
  7. Detail-oriented and organized.
  8. Resourceful and self-motivated with a passion for delivering results.
  9. Heart to serve others and act with integrity and authenticity.
  10. Positive attitude, optimism in adversity, and passion for people.
  11. Tech-savvy and able to navigate mobile and computer applications.
  12. Canva proficiency (preferred).

Pay: $40000 - $60000 / year

Job Type: fulltime

Schedule:

  1. Monday to Friday.
  2. 8 hour shift.
  3. Weekend availability.

Work location: On-site
