This intern role is within CG's Global Quality Control Function. The intern will (i) collaborate with business stakeholders, understand business processes, and elicit, define, and analyze requirements: (ii) assist with designing, configuring, developing, testing, implementing, support applications that enable business processes, focused on PTC's WindChill & Thingworx suite of products plus related applications.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Learn and collaborate with various functional teams across the organization to understand different quality needs.

  • Work with business stakeholders to review and analyze quality metrics.

  • Develop digitized methodologies to various areas of the quality organization.

  • Train the quality organization to ensure ongoing utilization.

  • Learn and assist in developing quality-plans where needed.

  • Identify opportunities to leverage applications to improve quality processes to ensure best practices are utilized across the quality organization.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Earning a bachelor's degree in systems engineering, mechanical engineering, quality, supply chain, or a similar field.

  • Must be able to work from our Oakbrook, IL office (15 miles west of Chicago) 3 days a week.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Some understanding of systems analysis, problem analysis, troubleshooting, and technical error resolution.

  • Some knowledge of data analysis skills and ability to translate business reporting needs into specific requirements and report design.
