Job Details

We are seeking a full-time Associate Attorney for our Austin, TX office. Candidates must have a minimum of 4 years of litigation experience. While experience in construction, insurance defense, and/or real estate law is preferred, a strong litigation background may suffice. A Texas license to practice law is required.

As an Associate Attorney, you will collaborate closely with senior attorneys on various aspects of litigation management, including but not limited to:

Legal research
Drafting pleadings, discovery, dispositive motions, and responses
Taking depositions
Attending mediations
Preparing for and attending trials and arbitrations
Qualifications

Strong knowledge and experience in law, with an emphasis on labor and employment law
Ability to provide sound legal advice and conduct thorough legal research
Excellent negotiation skills
Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines
Good organizational and time management skills
Experience in construction liability, real estate transactions, and insurance defense is a plus
Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree and an active license to practice law in Texas
