Home Care Powered by AUAF is a fast growing non-profit organization providing non-medical in-home care services to seniors for over 30 years. Our involvement in the Community Care Program offers our clients a cost-effective alternative to nursing home placement. It also allows our clients to provide home care from their families or people they already know.
The Staffing Coordinator reports to the office each day with a positive attitude, ready to manage their assigned Home Care Aides (HCAs) and client files. The position is central to the agency's success and serves as the central hub of care management, coordinating between case managers, caregivers, clients and their families, and the various AUAF departments. This position reports to the Staffing Coordinator Manager.
Responsibilities
- Answer all internal and external phone calls/emails in a timely, professional manner
- Attend training and meetings as requested
- Help and support coworkers in their absence
- Help and support other departments if needed
- Responsible for up to 150 or more clients based on experience level
- Process the starting in home service for new client with existing or new caregivers.
- Reboot/replace defective EVV device, and resolve Sandata Mobile Connect application issues
- Resolve and confirm all caregivers' attendance alerts in the Sandata application
- Update electronic documentation in ImageSilo application for caregivers and clients
- Report to case manager any changes in client's condition
- Timely process annual client agreements, authorizations, and payer change
- Adjust client and caregiver schedules to accommodate MCO monthly required service hours
- Request from caregiver change of address, change of phone number, change of schedule, and end of employment forms, then process it
- Request from HR department disciplinary action, termination letters, and process them
- Recruit caregivers for existing clients.
- Handle and solve challenging cases and/or conflicts between clients and caregivers
- Understand and actively promote all AUAF, MCOs and IDoA regulations and standards. This includes assisting caregivers in proper procedures related to EVV.
- Follow all IDoA and AUAF policies and procedures
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Required
- High School Diploma or GED
- Spanish Speaker
- Authorized to work in the United States
- Pass state required background checks
Required Skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word)
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent customer service
- Ability to work independently and manage their own case load
- Able to adapt to new processes, procedures, and requirements as handed down by the date
