Sr Wealth Advisor CFP

Our client is a boutique RIA located in the Pasadena area managing $500+ mil AUM and servicing HNW clients with over $1 mil++ in assets. The firm seeks a personable, detail oriented and exceptional Wealth Advisor CFP with strong knowledge of individual equities and performance analysis to provide proactive “white glove” HNW client relationship management services with thoughtful, consistent client engagement. The wealth advisor is an integral part of the wealth management team.

Duties & Responsibilities

  1. Proactively communicate with existing pre-retiree and retired HNW individuals, non-profit and corporate client relationships, thoroughly meeting current and changing needs.
  2. Engage with multigeneration and related households to identify new opportunities and provide planning services.
  3. Thoroughly plan client meetings, maintain accurate notes and records regarding client matters in the CRM.
  4. Create presentations for client, prospect and COI meetings.
  5. Work closely with Client Service team to review required paperwork or updated documentation prior to meetings.
  6. Keep client service team members adequately informed on all active and pending client matters.
  7. Client relationship development and management, including ongoing and regular client contact and communications to be tracked, updated in CRM and reported to team regularly.
  8. Communication with investment team on client portfolio updates and reviews, returns and new opportunity identification.
  9. Adhere to and follow firm processes and systems around team based subject matter expertise services and client relationship management.

Qualifications

  1. CFP or CFA preferred.
  2. 10+ years of experience in RIA, investment management or fee based financial services.
  3. Strong knowledge of individual equities, performance and investment analysis preferred.
  4. Ability to demonstrate an engaging communication process with retention strategies using comprehensive “white glove” planning service to HNW clients.
  5. Ability to demonstrate how to provide added value to team, clients and COI relationships.
  6. Schwab custodian platform experience a plus.
  7. Strong knowledge of eMoney and Tamarac preferred.
  8. Bachelor’s degree preferably in business, accounting, finance, economics, or related experience.

Compensation:

$150,000-$175,000+ base salary depending on experience.
