Weekly Pay Range - $1940 To $2155

**Job Title:** Endoscopy Technician
**Job Specialty:** GI/Endoscopy
**Job Duration:** 8 weeks, with potential extension
**Shift:** 10-hour day shifts, 4 days per week
**Guaranteed Hours:** 40 hours per week
**Experience:** Minimum of 2 years
**License:** Medical Assistant - Certified (MA-C), state-specific license not required
**Certifications:** BLS, CMA certification through AAMA
**Must-Have:**
- CMA certification required for submission
- Experience with Epic EMR preferred
**Job Description:**
- Function as an Endoscopy Technician in a fast-paced outpatient center.
- Work with low acuity outpatient cases including EGDs and colonoscopies.
- Participate in pre-operative and recovery phases for Phase 2 (non-intubated) patients.
- Administer propofol under an anesthetist's guidance; occasional use of midazolam and fentanyl for conscious sedation.
- Collaborate with floating Techs and Physician Assistants.
- Adhere to flexible scheduling patterns, subject to change based on department needs.
- Maintain a 1:2 staff-to-patient ratio in the procedure rooms.
- Non-weekend shifts; teal scrub attire is required.
- Cancellation policy allows for one shift cancellation per two-week period based on staffing needs.
- Opportunities to work in a Trauma Level 3 hospital setting.
