Job Title: HRIS AnalystSummary: The HRIS Analyst will be the subject matter expert for our Human Capital Management (HCM) system, UKG Pro, and other HR technology software solutions. This position will be responsible for all system maintenance and configuration, compliance reporting, researching and assessing technology needs, identifying systems/process improvements, implementing technological solutions that support business initiatives, and overall support of the HCM system. The ideal candidate will be passionate about putting their ideas to work in our collaborative, hands on, fast-paced, and innovation driven work environment. This position is located onsite full-time in our San Diego offices. The salary range for this positioon is 90k – 100k per year.Duties/Responsibilities:Provide full support for the development, maintenance, and execution of the HRIS system including ongoing configuration and enhancement needs for HR business processes (e.g., HR, Benefits, Onboarding, Payroll, Security, Compensation, Self-Service, Offboarding, etc.) as well as time and attendance (through UKG Workforce Management), and other systems.Performs testing of new modules or system changes/enhancements/upgrades to ensure that the changes and new functionality are aligned with the business user requests and do not cause disruptions to the business or users.Lead all organization set-up changes in the system which may involve configuring/adding new departments, job titles, EEO-1 classifications, pay grades, etc.Configure and lead cyclical system events in UKG including Benefits Open Enrollment, Compensation, Performance and Goal Setting. Perform mass data imports as needed.Oversee all file feeds between UKG Pro and other carriers (e.g., benefits carriers, 401(k), etc.) and troubleshoot when necessary.Work with functional users to provide technical support, research, troubleshoot, and resolve issues with UKG Pro and other HR modules.Responsible for all compliance reporting including EEO-1, VETS-4212, Affirmative Action, benefit census reports, benefits carrier enrollment reports, workforce reports, all Company requested custom reports requests, etc.Works with HR and IT to evaluate HRIS software and hardware needs and may design new or modify existing HRIS to meet changing demands.Collaborates and gathers requirements with business users including HR, Payroll, Accounting, IT and other leaders to understand their needs and challenges and makes recommendations as applicable.Documents standard work for the day-to-day tasks and trains others on how to use UKG Pro, UKG Workforce Management, and other HR modules.Education and Experience:Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field or equivalent experience is required.Minimum of 2 years of direct experience working with HRIS/HCM system is required.Working knowledge of HCM platforms/modules such as core HR, Recruiting, Onboarding, Benefits, Payroll, Compensation, Security, Org Set Up, and Reporting is required.Preferred Skills/Abilities:UKG Pro experienceStrong project management skills in managing HRIS/HCM projectsStrong analytical and technical skillsExperience and proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, SharePoint, Word, and PowerPoint)Experience with XML, SQL or other database toolsExcellent communication, collaboration and problem-solving skillsAbility to maintain strict confidentiality regarding payroll, benefits and employee issuesSelf-motivated and able to work independently or as part of a teamExperience supporting employees in multiple states from a benefits, payroll and compliance perspective especially CaliforniaFlexible and adaptable to changing business priorities and needsPhysical Requirements:Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.This job requires attending meetings, both in person and virtually as well as speaking on the phone with peers, clients, consultants, etc. Speaking, hearing and listening are required.Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.Benefits:Paid Time OffPaid Holidays401KMedical & DentalVisionFlex Spending Account (medical and dependent)Supplemental BenefitsAbout us:The DeWitt Companies is a fifth-generation, family-owned operation whose mission is to provide world-class transportation services to households, businesses, and military personnel around the globe.
