Key Responsibilities:
- Act as key data lead to leverage versatile technical capabilities to drive the development, evolution, and implementation of data products, which enable self-service by data consumers.
- Re-engineer data processes and migrate the processes from on-premises to Amazon Web Services.
- Explore industry trends, tools, and techniques in Open Source/Big Data/Digital domain
- Business Intelligence.
- Execute and monitor data processes that deliver critical data to partners and regulators.
- Develop prototypes and implement new business intelligence tools, solutions, and techniques.
- Assist in development of standards and policies for business intelligence frameworks
- Data Management.
- Evaluate data management, data quality and data access processes for gaps, inefficiencies and opportunities; provide recommendations for improvement.
- Implement solutions and processes for management and governance across data quality metrics, metadata, lineage, data access rights, and business definitions.
- Develop data mapping to enable data end users to more easily transition to using new systems
Key Requirements and Technology Experience:
- Skills: SQL, Python, Tableau, AWS.
- Degree specialized in a Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics discipline.
- Experience with Python, Snowflake SQL, Unix/Linux, Databricks and Github.
- Experience with Amazon Web Services products, such as EC2, S3, Redshift, and Snowflake.
- Desire to learn about external companies (typically Fortune 500) that Client partners with for co-brand andprivate label programs.
- Experience with BI tools such as Tableau/Thoughtspot.
- Bachelor’s Degree.
- At least 1 year of experience in at least one scripting language with automation.
- At least 1 year of experience in querying, analyzing, and working with data languages and platforms.
- Master’s Degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics discipline
- Previous COF experience.
- Experience in domain knowledge focused on risk management/audit/ credit operational control space.
- 1+ years of experience working within process management and improvement methodologies – Lean, Six Sigma, etc)
- 1+ years of experience working with and demonstrating knowledge of data governance, data quality management concepts and data quality tools.
- 1+ years of experience with hands on Python/SQL coding in Databricks along with automation scripting skills.
