Responsibilities:

Act in a guard capacity with physical presence and safekeeping.
Maintain adherence to laws, rules, and regulations for protection and security.
Provide a secure environment for employees and the general public by patrolling property, monitoring surveillance equipment (as applicable), inspecting buildings, equipment, and access points, and managing entry permissions.
Maintain vigilance in assigned areas to promptly address disturbances by visitors and occupants.
Exercise tact and judgment to prevent disorder, quell disturbances, and uphold law and order.
Assist employees in situations involving hostile, abusive, or disorderly visitors, or individuals under the influence, mentally unstable, engaging in unlawful acts, and/or armed.
Respond to disturbances and promptly alert law enforcement as needed.
Prevent unauthorized access to restricted areas and promptly notify law enforcement of any unlawful or hazardous behavior.
Prepare detailed activity and incident reports and assist with documenting incidents requiring law enforcement intervention.
Report incidents and safety hazards accurately and promptly to our dispatch center.

Requirements:

Must have valid security license.
Valid drivers license/Identification.
Ability to remain standing for prolonged hours.
Strong observational skills and attention to detail.
Good physical health with the capability for prolonged periods of standing.
Ability to remain calm and respond effectively in emergency situations.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening.
