Job DescriptionInsight Global is looking for a Throughput Simulation Engineer in Warren, Michigan. The Engineer will be responsible for throughput analysis and simulation of new vehicle programs through all phases the vehicle process. There will be a lot of collaboration with manufacturing engineering teams in the design and optimization of any current and future manufacturing systems and supporting various plants with their throughput improvements as well as crating material flow simulations.Other responsibilities include:Implement simulation deliverables for assigned new/major Vehicle programs.Optimally run experiments/analysis, interpret results, and generate standard reportsRespond to throughput simulation pulls from assigned manufacturing facilitiesSupport innovation and continuous improvement initiativesExtract necessary inputs from Manufacturing Planning & Engineering documentsInterface with Execution and Process Leads to support total plant throughput strategyCoordinate with various teams for target settingUtilize and contribute to the improvement of standardized workDeliver results to customersInterface with execution/process teams for validating/updating Data SetsSupport development/refinement of station level dataOccasional travel (5%)We are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day.
