Self Starter, Looking to Grow into a Full-Time Role in our brand new kitchen opening end of 2024. Currently, we have a Cafe with mostly Private Event food (Charcuterie, Smaller Bites) & a Grill Menu. We also do Brunch on Saturday & Sunday mornings.
Our menu was designed by the team at Honey Butter Fried Chicken as well as chefs with Michelin experience. High quality ingredients prepared simply, in a positive atmosphere with superior hours to a traditional restaurant.
Duties:
- Prepare and cook food items according to recipes and quality standards
- Assist in the planning and development of menus
- Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner and meets food safety guidelines
- Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies
- Clean and maintain work areas, utensils, and equipment
- Follow proper food handling and sanitation procedures
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure smooth operation of the kitchen
- Assist with catering events as needed
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in food service or as a line cook is preferred
- Knowledge of meal preparation techniques and food handling procedures
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to follow recipes accurately and consistently
- Knowledge of kitchen equipment and knife skills is a plus
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new techniques and procedures
