Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Recruiter/HR Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have enthusiasm for finding top talent and representing Western Building Products as a top employer.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement effective recruiting strategies to attract top talent
- Source and screen candidates through various channels, including job boards, social media, and referrals
- Conduct interviews and assess candidate qualifications and fit for open positions
- Collaborate with hiring managers to understand their staffing needs and develop job descriptions
- Manage the entire recruitment process from sourcing to offer acceptance and onboarding
- Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified candidates for future job openings
- Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations related to recruitment and hiring
- May participate on company committees as needed
- Greet new employees on their first day of work; conduct new employee orientation, onboarding, and training
- Keep employee changes updated in personnel files and HRIS
- Respond to inquiries regarding policies, procedures, and programs
- Act as the technical resource to address and resolve inquiries and problems related to the human resources function
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
- Minimum of two years of experience in recruiting
- Proven track record of success in recruiting top talent
- Strong knowledge of recruitment best practices and techniques
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and applicant tracking systems
