What You'll Do
Want to make a difference in the life of children and families? Family Support Workers (FSW) offer home visits to expectant parents and caregivers of small children, providing parenting education, support, and advocacy. Family Support Workers link parents to resources, promote optimal child health and development, and problem solve with parents. Family needs and abilities are evaluated on an ongoing basis. Family Support Workers assist families in designing individualized support plans and empower families overtime to achieve their chosen goals. Our home visitation program is part of a nationwide initiative designed to empower families to become and remain healthy and strong.
What You'll Need
Qualified applicants will have a Bachelor's degree in a health, education, or human service related field and one year of related experience working with children and families.
