The Strategic Division (SD) supports high-reliability organizations including Navy Strategic Systems Programs (SSP), Air Force Nuclear Weapons Center, and the Department of Energy (DOE), among others. Our support across our client base is expanding rapidly and encompasses important services, such as data analytics and visualization, threat analysis, risk management, modeling and simulation, cost estimating, earned value management, program management, system engineering, independent evaluation, and High Consequence Event prevention.
SPA's Strategic Division's Strategic Development Group (SDG) supports critical U.S. government programs providing Systems Engineering support, Systems Safety support and Financial Analysis support. SDG is hiring now for a Financial Analyst at the Washington Navy Yard.
Responsibilities
The Acquisition & Financial Analyst will assist the Reentry Branch of Strategic Systems Programs as a resident contractor with budget execution, budget planning, contracting strategies, acquisition planning, and other program office support. Candidates need the ability to work as part of a team and prioritize their own project load. Candidates are expected to sit on-site at the Washington Navy Yard and must be comfortable working in a rapidly growing, fast-paced environment.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- U.S. Citizen with current/active TOP SECRET clearance.
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting or another equivalent field.
- 4-7 Years experience in Government Finance and Acquisitions or equivalent experience.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
Desired Qualifications:
- Experience with SAP Navy Enterprise Resource Program (ERP).
- Experience with Government Contracts.
- Experience with Navy and DoD Acquisitions.
- 10+ Years Experience in Government Finance and Acquisitions.
