What You Will Do at Aptar Pharma:
The primary mission of the Senior Account Manager is to build, maintain and develop strong partnerships with clients.
What Aptar Pharma Is Looking For:
  • Manage and grow potential of existing client portfolio through regular meetings and conference calls.
  • Secure and nurture long-term partnerships with designated client portfolio.
  • Monitor, report, elevate and develop solutions on customer satisfaction initiatives.
  • Engage in complex problem solving including technical, commercial, quality, regulatory.
  • Organize regular Business Review, Quality, Technical and other cross-functional meetings.
  • Develop, manage and leverage internal network to facilitate resolution of complex discussion.
  • Apply effective collaboration skills with global stakeholders and partners such as site Customer Service, Supply Chain, Manufacturing etc. in support of Customer goals.
  • Prepare and monitor budget assumptions for client portfolio.
  • Manage Sales revenue, forecasts, year-end estimates and 5 Year Plan.
  • Propose and establish contractual framework with account base, i.e. Confidential Agreements, Supply Agreements, Long Term Pricing Contracts, Annual Price review, etc.
  • Actively participate in the preparation, negotiation and enforcement of relevant legal agreements.
  • Be in tune and apply Industry knowledge of the pharmaceutical markets.
  • Identify and qualify new opportunities within project portfolio.
  • Organize and or participate in trade shows or conference.
  • Monitor and communicate industry trends to interested stakeholders.
  • Maintain accurate master data; manage key sales data and sales reporting systems.
  • Remain current on applicable industry and pharmaceutical industry news.
  • Prepare and report relevant information in visit and monthly reports.
  • Promote Aptar Value propositions including Services and products
  • Be compliant with corporate policies and ISO requirements.
What you will bring on the journey
Education
  • BS in Engineering, Biomedical or related scientific field, or Business Degree with strong technical interests.
Experience
  • At least 2 years of experience in events or marketing (Product, Brand or Regional Marketing, Communications, Promotions, Events). Preferably with B2B and experience within the pharmaceutical and medical device markets.
  • 10+ years of experience in Pharmaceutical Packaging, (preferably focused within the Pharmaceutical market).
  • 7 years of experience account management in B2B direct pharmaceutical companies, industry.
Skills
  • Proven effective communication skills.
  • Develop and deliver presentations, lead complex technical and business discussions internally and externally influencing all stakeholders.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Detail oriented and rigorous.
  • Independent and self-motivated.
  • Driven and eager to learn.
  • Strategic thinker with good analytical skills.
  • Team player and ability to work in a multicultural/cross-functional environment.
  • Efficient time management.
  • Strong understanding and participation within the Pharmaceutical industry, ideally in packaging.
  • Strong computer skills utilizing CRM and MS Office.
  • Good understanding of regulatory requirements.
Travel
  • Ability to travel at least 40%.

Compensation and Base Annual Pay
Aptar Pharma offers a competitive total rewards package including base salary or base hourly rate determined by many factors including the role, experience, knowledge, skill set and location. For those in eligible roles, discretionary incentive compensation which may be awarded in recognition of individual achievements and contributions.
The typical base annual salary range for the position of Senior Account Manager to the specific work location of: New York City metropolitan region is USD $135,000 to $175,000 per year. Additional details about total compensation and benefits are provided during the hiring process.
