POSITION OVERVIEW
The Vice President, Human Resources will serve as the strategic HR Leader and voice for all entities of OU Health. This unique organizational lens will be accountable for supporting the ongoing development and execution of our HR Roadmap. This role is the key liaison to “broker” the HR service delivery model that ensures appropriate support of human resource services and solutions are provided in areas such as talent management, total rewards, talent acquisition, engagement, learning, employee health and safety, employee relations, organizational design/effectiveness and workforce development. The incumbent is also accountable to ensure oversight and governance of HR processes, systems, and policies.

The Vice President, Human Resources is a key HR executive that supports all operating entities and is responsible for leading, implementing, and executing the People and Culture Strategic Work Plan. As the leading strategic HR Business Partner for all system divisions, they will lead and deploy human resources initiatives and processes that cover our entire talent life cycle.
This position reports directly to the Chief Human Resources Officer and provides guidance/support to the Executive Leadership Team to achieve OU Health 5 Strategic Domains and ensure top decile operational performance. The position directs the HR Business Partners team and formulates partnerships across the HR team and Centers of Excellence (CoE) to deliver value-added service to leadership and employees that reflect the strategic business objectives of OU Health.

EXPERIENCE
- 10+ years of executive human resources leadership experience gained from roles in different levels of size, complexity, and business model maturity.
- Has successfully led complex and system-wide organizational change that is a result of operating model transformation, business startup, mergers and acquisitions, business consolidation, etc.
- Has partnered with business leaders to develop, design, and implement relevant strategic human resources strategies.
- Demonstrated success at managing and developing senior HR functional and leadership capability.
- Led organization design, restructuring and strategic workforce planning initiatives.
- Experience in creating and enhancing organizational culture that deliver higher levels of employee engagement, commitment, and satisfaction.
- Highly skilled in executing “generalist” HR core processes in areas such as total rewards, talent management, talent acquisition, employee relations, employment laws, performance management, employee assessment and development, succession planning and organizational development.
