Mitsubishi Electric Trane HVAC US LLC is looking for a Director, Technology in Suwanee, GA.
POSITION SUMMARY:
The Directory of Technology plays a vital role in ensuring the reliability, scalability and security of the METUS technology and architecture. This person will develop and execute a strategic vision that aligns with the business objectives while incorporating the latest industry best practices and capabilities. Reporting to the V.P., Data & Analytics, the Director of Technology will lead a team of IT professionals and work closely with a variety of internal and external stakeholders.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
The essential functions of the position include, but are not limited to the following:
Strategic Leadership:
The base pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be between $140,000 and $192,500 per year, however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including target bonus plans and discretionary awards. Subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable plans then in effect, eligible employees may enroll in a 401(k) plan, as well as participate in Company-sponsored medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance plans for the employee and the employee's eligible dependents. Employees will also receive 80 hours of vacation per year, 56 hours of paid sick leave annually, and 13 paid holidays throughout the calendar year, depending on hire date. Employees may also take up to 12 weeks of paid or unpaid (parental/disability/emergency/etc.) leave, if eligible.

Strategic Leadership:
- Develop and execute the IT Technology strategy and roadmap in alignment with the company's growth objectives.
- Identify and incorporate new and emerging technology trends as applicable to the METUS business.
- Establish metrics to measure technology performance and return on investment (ROI).
- Oversee the implementation and maintenance of IT infrastructure, ensuring reliability, security and scalability.
- Manage software across the organization, ensuring it meets the needs of the business and remains up to date.
- Administer on-prem and cloud-based applications and infrastructure.
- Ensure IT service delivery, including systems applications, support services, and 24/7 support.
- Ensure compliance with cybersecurity best practices as well as corporate standards and regulatory requirements.
- Support Information Security Management (ISM) activities such as providing training and awareness to the enterprise, oversee security audits, implement improvements related to vulnerabilities/weaknesses in current technology, etc.
- Provide strategic planning, policy development, auditing and monitoring for all IT infrastructure and security measures.
- Oversee contracts relating to IT software, services and suppliers, ensuring they are compliant with IT and Legal policies.
- Implement architectural standards across the enterprise to ensure scalability and support timely delivery and high quality of all digital solutions.
- Ensure timely delivery of IT projects, including budget adherence and alignment with business objectives.
- Develop and implement change management processes to support system implementations.
- Engage with cross-functional teams to drive successful project outcomes.
- Lead IT teams and functions to support daily operations as well as achieve project- and strategic-level objectives.
- Mentor, coach and develop the IT team members to ensure they are highly utilized and growing in their career objectives
- Demonstrate METUS values and servant leadership qualities across the enterprise
- Willing to travel up to 25% to for various Company meetings and training both domestically and possibly internationally
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Bachelor's degree in Business, IT, Computer Science, or related specialization.
- 10+ years of experience with IT and IT Management
- Experience in data center management including hardware/software/networking procurement and management
- Experience with high availability full stack hardware and network management (firewalls, routers, switches, load balancers, web servers, virtualized machines, high volume transactional database servers and related software on Windows and Linux operating systems)
- Expertise in major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
- Knowledge of containerization and orchestration (e.g. Docker, Kubernetes)
- Knowledge of distributed systems concepts
- Knowledge of and exposure to Azure and AWS application services
- Experience with relational and NoSQL databases
- Advanced understanding of AI landscape, in particular Large Language Model (LLM) solutions
- Advanced certifications in relevant domains (M365, CISSP, CISM, etc).
- Demonstrated experience supporting a remote, multi-business workforce with front-line workers.
- Valid Driver's License with acceptable driving record
