TL;DR Kharon is seeking a full-time U.S.-based Senior Software Engineer.
Responsibilities:
- Provide mentorship and guidance to fellow engineers, fostering an environment of continuous learning and professional growth.
- Lead and drive the development and deployment of product features, ensuring alignment with the entire development lifecycle and Kharon’s strategic objectives, while demonstrating leadership and technical acumen.
- Spearhead the decision-making process for application architecture, ensuring scalability, robustness, and alignment with strategic goals.
- Champion code quality and organization, implementing standards and practices that ensure excellence and maintainability.
- Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve software anomalies and bugs, applying expertise to ensure stability and reliability.
- Facilitate effective collaboration among engineers, designers, and product managers, ensuring that engineering efforts are integrated and aligned with cross-functional objectives.
- Engage actively in the Agile software development lifecycle, embodying its principles to enhance team agility and product quality.
- Craft well-designed, maintainable, and testable code, exemplifying best practices in software engineering and contributing to the team's success.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience developing web-based applications
- Demonstrated experience with and understanding of Java, JavaScript, Vue.js, Neo4j, Python, and PostgreSQL (part of our stack) + AWS.
- Experience writing software tests and creating developer documentation
- Bonus: Experience with a modern front-end framework/library
