Our dynamic and successful Urban Mobility and Infrastructure Group is seeking a full-time Active Transportation Civil Engineer to join our team of professionals, focusing on transportation design in urban markets. This position would be based in our Minneapolis or Saint Paul office. As an Active Transportation Civil Engineer, you would be responsible for the design and/or management of pedestrian and bicycle active transportation facilities for urban design, transit and municipal infrastructure projects. Duties include leading tasks for the development of construction plans and documents; evaluating design alternatives; and preparing reports, studies, and construction contract documents; as well as client development and staff management.

Responsibilities:
- Assist the design team in producing quality products for our clients.
- Engage in a positive work environment with an open mind to learning new skills and software associated with typical project requirements.
- Be an active participant on a collaborative design team with other groups/disciplines within SRF.
- Exhibit quality day-to-day work in line with SRF's quality management plan.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
- Engineering Licensure or desire to pursue professional engineering licensure.
- We are seeking 3 or more years of related civil engineering experience.
- Experience in AutoCAD Civil 3D and/or in Bentley 3D design tools.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Microsoft office suite experience.
- Interest or passion for involvement in the development of local and nationwide innovative active transportation projects.
- Seeking someone who is a self-starter, collaborative, dedicated, enthusiastic, flexible, innovative, organized, eager to learn, and possesses strong communication skills.
