Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Network Security Lead to join our team at Crane, IN.

Responsibilities

  1. Work with our government customer to create dashboards in Splunk to discover their cyber risks, understand system vulnerabilities, and report on federally mandated actions.
  2. Utilize dashboards for data analysis and reporting.
  3. Develop and disseminate key dashboard information in ways that prioritize risk mitigation.
  4. Oversee, evaluate, and support the documentation, validation, and accreditation processes necessary to ensure new and existing information technology (IT) systems meet the organization’s information assurance (IA) and security requirements.
  5. Ensure appropriate treatment of risk, compliance, and monitoring assurance from internal and external perspectives.

Minimum Qualifications

  1. One of the following: CISSP, CASP, or equivalent DoD 8570.01 IAT-3 certification is required.
  2. BS in Cybersecurity or Computer Science.
  3. 7 (Seven) years minimum of related IT experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  1. 5 (Five) years of professional experience in network security of an enterprise network.
  2. Must have working knowledge and experience with firewalls, Intrusion Detection Systems, Host Based Security Systems, and proxy.
  3. Ability to analyze IT Security monitoring and reporting requirements and define, design, develop, maintain, or improve Splunk dashboards, reports, and alerts.
  4. Knowledge of IT Security tools such as Nessus.
  5. Experience as a Splunk Dashboard Developer.
  6. Experience working with a team, but also leading projects and interacting with the customer.

Clearance Requirements

Must have a current/active Secret security clearance or be able to obtain a Secret security clearance.

Physical Requirements

  1. Must be able to remain in a stationary position 80% of the time.
  2. The person in this position frequently communicates with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering presentations.
  3. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
  4. Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine, and computer printer.
